Types of Leaf Blower and Leaf Vacuum Mulcher in the market
Not every leaf vacuum mulcher blower is the same. It all starts with the type of blower drive, which is crucial when choosing a blower that works best for you.
The three different types are the electric models, models with a battery, and petrol leaf blowers. Each of these leaf blowers has its advantages and disadvantages below the list.
Electric Leaf Blowers/ Leaf Vacuum Mulchers
An electric leaf vacuum mulcher blower might be a good consideration if you're not into lugging. Electric models are lighter than their battery or petrol counterparts. Most models can even be operated with one hand.
The maintenance of the electric models is the least of all three types. In addition, you also have the advantage that you always have power because the leaf blower is connected to the mains. However, most electric models require an extension cord to operate, so keep this in mind.
Since there is no need to install a battery or petrol engine in the leaf blower, electric leaf blowers often cost less than their counterparts.
Leaf blowers with battery
Models with a battery are in between the electric and petrol variant. Models with a battery must be charged, so if you forget to do this, you will have to wait a while until you can clean the garden.
They are especially popular for smaller gardens. A full battery usually lasts about an hour. If you have a large garden, it can be annoying (but also nice) if you have to take a forced break until the leaf blower battery is charged again.
The main advantage is that battery-powered leaf blowers generally produce the least noise of all three variants. In terms of price, models with a battery are between the electric and petrol variants.
Gasoline Leaf Blower Vacuum Mulchers
These models are generally heavier than electric leaf blowers. Of course, you immediately have the advantage that you are not tied to the mains' power through the power cord, so you can move freely.
Gasoline leaf mulcher vacuum blowers, unfortunately, have the disadvantage that they must be kept up to date. Since you work with petrol, this is often not a very clean job. If you don't keep up with the leaf blower, it could last less than a battery and electric models.
When looking at the noise level, petrol leaf blowers are unfortunately the loser. These models make the most noise, and that can cause considerable inconvenience. In addition, leaf blowers that run on petrol are also very bad for the environment.
Backpack or suitcase model
In addition to the three drive types, it's also helpful to know what choices there are when carrying around those few pounds that come with a leaf blower. There are two different models: the suitcase model with a handle and the backpack model that is, of course, worn on the back.
Most models are suitcase models. These are cheaper but certainly don't have to compromise the backpack models when it comes to quality.
Suitcase model
Suitcase models have a handle that allows them to be carried by hand. This is, of course, perfectly fine for most leaf blowers, but some leaf blowers can carry greater weight, sometimes as much as 10 kilos. Therefore, in the heavier categories, you will more often find leaf blowers with a backpack model.
Some of these models also have wheels at the head of the tube. This means you don't have to keep the leaf blower in the air all the time, which can prevent muscle soreness the next day.

Backpack model
Backpack-style leaf blowers are perfect if you have to spend longer in the garden. Therefore, the wearing comfort of these models is higher than the suitcase models. However, backpack models are often only found with the more high-end and more expensive models when it comes to leaf blowers/ leaf vacuum mulchers.
